It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Catherine Hall Kennedy, on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at the Northdside Community Guest Home.
Born in Sydney, Dec. 17, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Bourinot) and John J. Hall.
Sharon was a member of the Immaculate Conception parish in Main-a-Dieu.
She was an active member in her community. She was a girl guide leader; youth group leader and religion studies leader.
Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Sharon is survived by her children, Shaun (Charlene) and Jeannine; her grandsons, Jonathan and Connor, who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister, Linda; brothers, Eddie, Reggie, Glen and Kelly, along with many nieces, nephews and her godchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.
Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her stepmother, Mary who she loved and admired, brothers, Winky and Graham, niece Angela.
We would to thank the Northside Guest Home staff for the unbelievable care given to our mother over the past few years.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Main-a-Dieu. A celebration of Sharon’s life will take place 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, in Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Raj officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
