It is with great sadness that the family of the late Neta Macie Colbourne announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Sunday September 28, 2014 at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Barry (Marie), Gene (Sylvia), Bruce (Stella), Michael (Linda), Cathy (Ken), and Mark (Monica); daughter-in-law Katie; grandchildren: Lori, Keith, Carol Ann, Cathy Lee, Dennis, Peggy, Ashley, Allison, Catie, and Riley; 6 great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald; parents Wilfred and Flora Osmond, and her brothers and sisters. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday September 29 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday September 30, between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the St. Michael and All Angels Anglican church, Park Drive on Wednesday October 1 at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Reverend Canon Roberta Woodman. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Neta’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
