NAVES, DIANNA ELIZABETH - It is with heavy hearts the family of Dianna Elizabeth (Sherwood) Naves announce her passing on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late John and Bernice (Lord) Sherwood. Dianna will be missed by her sons, James Naves (Theresa) and Pat Naves (Tracey), both of Saint John; a daughter, Kelly MacGarvie (Troy) of St. Paul, AB; siblings, John Sherwood (Barb), Mary-Ellen Doyle (the late Danny) and Colleen Dugas (Gordon); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother David Sherwood.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, 21 Canon Street, Saint John on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
