Levy, Arnold Lewis, 87, of Falmouth, Hants County, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born on July 2, 1927 in Gaspereau Valley, King County. He was the son of the late Lewis and Edith (Dyken) Levy. He was a supervisor and foreman at Minas Basin Pulp and Power for many years before retiring in 1992. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, the former June Schofield; son, Christopher “Chris”, Windsor; daughter, Dorothy Martin (Jack Hollis), Springhill; grandchildren, Kathy Martin, Springhill; Natascha Levy, Aylesford; Sarah Levy, Halifax; twin great grandchildren, Dylan and Maya Clapperton; Maddox Levy; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son, Basil; daughter, Marlene; brothers, Robert; sisters, Bessie Tracey and Mary Smith. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232) 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service was 2 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, Kings County. Donations in Arnold’s memory were requested to be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Windsor Elms.
