Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, with her loving family by her side, of Stella Ann LeClair, beloved wife of Leonard J. LeClair of 106 School St., Tignish, age 68 years. Born on Oct. 2, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Alice (nee Gallant) Gaudet. Loving mother to Bonnie Arsenault (Richard Chaisson) of Harper Road, Darcy (Jodi) of St. Felix, Randy (Wanda) of Alberton, and Trevor (Jaime) of Cascumpec. Cherished grandmother to Shelby, Hannah, Emma, Ben, Kolby, Karson, Karly and Dylan. Dear sister to Hercules (Irma) Gaudet of Cascumpec, David (Evelyn) Gaudet of Tignish Shore and Terry (Elaine) Gaudet of St. Felix. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jean Gaudet of Kinkora, Audrey (Jim) Doucette of St. Felix, Phyllis Weatherbee of Tignish, Lorraine Hefford of Chicago, Ill., Stephen LeClair of Montague, Anne Marie (Jerry) Morrison of Glace Bay, N.S., Paula LeClair of Toronto, Janet (David) Carragher of Miminegash and June (Frederick) Blanchard of St. Roch. She was predeceased by a brother, Gerrard Gaudet of Kinkora and brothers-in-law, Omar and Melvin LeClair. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral on Tuesday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church for funeral mass at 3 p.m. Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Palliative Care unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, or to Victoria's Quilts would be gratefully appreciated.
