It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Stella Dorothy Payne announces her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014, at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her 4 sons; Harvey, Henry (Gladys), Ivan all of St. Paul’s, NL, Bryant of Pasadena, NL, her 6 daughters; Jessie Byrne of Corner Brook, NL, Meta (Foward Hutchings) of St. Paul’s, NL, Geneva (Wilfred Brown) of Cow Head, NL, Gladys (Mike Fleet) of Toronto, Ont, Glenda (Rod Pittman), of Corner Brook, NL, and Pam (Ron Smith) of Cow Head, NL, her 35 grandchildren, her 34 great grandchildren, also a numerous number of great great grandchildren, her 4 sisters; Jessie Payne, Margaret (Gordon Bennett), Hannah (Walter Reid), & Sheila (Jim Payne), her 5 brothers; Donald (Sylvia), Lloyd (Louise), Raymond, Gerald (Joyce), & Eric (Dulcie), daughter-in-law: Sarah and son-in-law: Terry. Mother was predeceased by her husband; Percy, son; Trevor, daughter; Maxine, mother & father; Robert & Catherine, mother & father in law; George & Mary Payne, brothers; Gordon, & Con, sister; Olga, daughter-in-law; Cassie, & Florence, & son-in-law; Charlie. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends.The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Paul’s Anglican Church in St. Paul's, NL, on Saturday, October 25th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and continuing on Sunday October 27th, 2014, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, October 28th, 2014, at 2pm with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the Anglican church cemetery in St. Paul's, NL.
