Managing Dorlene’s at Highland Square Mall with her daughter, Carol for approximately 10 years was one of the highlights of her life. Following she was employed with the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library for several years spending time on the bookmobile meeting residents throughout the county, sharing her great sense of humour with everyone. Evelyn enjoyed a true love of nature and possessed a real kindness for all animals. She found great joy in time spent at the beach with her son, Michael, or near the ocean, which always made her smile.
