Stephen Dale MacKenzie­, 67, originally from Glengary and living in Port Dover, Ontario, passed away suddenly Saturday,  November 15, 2014.
He had just recently returned to Ontario after spending time with his mother and family in Sunny Brae. He loved Nova Scotia and enjoyed coming home every summer.
He is survived by his mother Agnes MacKenzie, Sunny Brae; brothers: Tom (Bonnie) New Glasgow; Hal, Hamilton; Sandy, Glengarry; Shane, Glengarry; Jackie (Lillian), Tillsonburg; Jerry, Bradford; sisters: Marsha (Dave), Truro; Sherry (Phillip), Sunny Brae; Colleen (Donnie), Bridgeville; Wendy (Andy), Churchville; Lou (Ronnie), Truro.
He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his wife Carole and family in Port Dover, Ontario.
Steve was predeceased by his father Thomas Neil MacKenzie.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life service in Port Dover on Sunday, November 23 at 2 p.m. There will be a private family gathering at a later date to be announced.
