Melvin, George Ivan, 64, of Windsor Forks, Hants County, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at home. Born on August 15, 1950 in Wolfville, Kings County, he was the son of the late, George and Florence (Golar) Melvin. He enjoyed relaxing at home watching TV. Surviving are his sisters, JoAnne (Frank) Tracey, Windsor Forks; Frances DeAdder, Kentville; Faith Melvin, Berwick; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Lee Melvin; sisters, Joan Saunders and Martha Brown; nephew, Randall Croft. Visitation was held from 1-2 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor, where the funeral service followed at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Berwick Cemetery, Berwick.
