The death occurred peacefully in her sleep, after three happy days at her new home, at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, November 20, 2014, of Estelle Bolger of Summerside, aged 105 years. Born in Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ada (Batchilder) Soloman. Survived by her daughter Patricia Brooke; grandchildren Kyira Korrigan (Tim Crumley), Shannon (Paul) Gallant, Shelley Gaudet (Robbie Burt); three great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Predeceased by her husband Cornelius “Lenie” Bolger and her daughter Arlene (Fred) Gaudet; brothers John and Walter Soloman; and by sisters Louise Soloman, Ann Ceradini, Agnes Henry and Freda Morrison. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Memorial donations to St. Brigid’s Church, Foxley River, would be appreciated.
