Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, Mark Vaters of Swift Current, aged 86 years. Predeceased by his parents George and Emily Vaters; brothers Walter and James; sister Gladys Butt and brother-in-law Gordon Crocker; sister-in-law Melvie. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Vida (nee Beck) of 51 years; daughters Ruth (Alton Goobie), Rosetta (Craig Avery), Marie (Shawn Butt) and Marilyn (Gary Green); son Ernie (Maxine); eleven grandchildren; sisters Evelyn Crocker and Mary Carey (Frank); brothers Henry (Betty), Eugene (Ruth), Joe (Marie) and Bill (Sheila); sisters-in-law Pauline and Verna; brother-in-law Arthur Butt; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at the Pentecostal Church, Swift Current. Funeral service took place on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Pentecostal Church, Swift Current with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Swift Current.
