The death occurred peacefully at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon on Thursday, November 20, 2014 of Marjorie Elizabeth (McBain) Carruthers, aged 76 years.
Born June 10, 1938 in Locke Road, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Ruby (Silliker) McBain. Dear "sister" to Allan (Juanita), O'Leary.
She will be dearly missed by daughter, Jeanie Rooney, Pinette, and sons, Ron Carruthers, Dock Road and Keith (Christine), Valley, N.S.; as well as, the children's father, Calvin. Loving grandma to Jennifer, Matthew, Christopher and Morgan Carruthers and Megan, Bruce and Bradford Rooney and to great-granddaughters, Hailey Mae and Kadence. Special "Auntie" to Kimberley, Chrissie and Robbie. Predeceased by parents; sister, Jean; and son-in-law, Dennis.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary where the funeral was held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment followed in Springfield West Baptist Cemetery.
