June 15, 1918 - November 23, 2014 Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge, St John's on November 23, 2014 NELLIE JANE BARNES of Garnish, at the age of 96. Predeceased by parents Thomas & Evangeline Marsh, sisters Ivy and Amelia and brother Allan, daughter Mabel and first husband, George Newport. Leaving to mourn husband, Isaac Barnes; children, Bill (Gertie), Georgia (Enos), Cliff (Glenys) Anne (Eric), Kay (Jim), Una (Marcel), Charles (Susan), Ruby (Garry) and a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters Sylvia Thornhill and Carrie (Hubley Grandy), sister in law, Nina Marsh. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Meadowcreek Retirement Centre and Glenbrook Lodge for your care and friendship. She loved you all. Resting and visitation at Garnish United Church on Monday November 24th from 7 - 9, Tuesday November 25th 2 - 4 and 7 - 9.
