ROBAR, Tyler George – 21, Grande Prairie, Alberta, and formerly of Tusket, Yarmouth Co., passed away suddenly as a result of a tragic accident on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Grande Prairie. Born May 26, 1993 in Yarmouth, he was a son of Michael (Lori) Robar, South Ohio and Glenda (Timothy) Hurlburt, Grande Paririe. Tyler was currently working in the roofing industry. He will be remembered as a very talented young man who loved sports, especially football and hockey, and who enjoyed playing the guitar. Aside from his loving parents, he is survived by a half brother, Morgan Fitzgerald, Sackville, NS and a step-sister, Jasna Hurlburt, New Glasgow. Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Jean (Paul) Wentzell, Yarmouth and Maxwell Robar, Bridgetown, as well as by his maternal grandparents, Flavien and Dorothy Doucette; aunts and uncles, Corey (Tammy) Doucette, Grande Prairie; Eric (Jessica) Doucette, Drumheller; Cindy (Jimmy) Robar, Yarmouth; Nancy (Terry) Robar, Port Maitland; Peter (Adrienne) Robar, Saulnierville; Mackie (Connie) Robar, Bridgetown, as well as many cousins. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, December 15, both at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
