It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Wesley Sainsbury at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavillion on Saturday, December 20, 2014, age 91 years. Predeceased by his wife, Joan (1980); parents, Frank and Daisy; and his sister, Ruby Stanford. Leaving to cherish his memory and celebrate his life are his daughter, Gloria Sparkes (Cyril); son, Paul (Liz); 9 grandchildren: Darrin (Lisa), Chris, Barry (Maegan), Danielle (Adam), Tina (Paul), Paul (Amanda), Janet (Adam), Michael (Yasmin), and Matthew; many great-grandchildren; his sister, Ella Dunne; brother, Russell Sainsbury; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends - including long-time friends Ed and Yvonne Murphy. Thank you to the staff of the Veterans Pavillion, and a special thank you to Gail Bennett, Audrey Sweetland-Greene, Nathan McLachlan, Dianne Brown, Tracey Howlett and Dr. Stringer for all your help and exceptional care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, December 22, from 11am-9pm, and on Tuesday, December 23, from 10am-9pm. Funeral service will take place at Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at 12noon, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
