It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edna Mildred Heath announce her passing on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Frances Gill (Joseph), Brian and Pamela Chafe (Walter); grandchildren: Michael Gill, Sheena Hillier, Matthew Gill and Meghan Ross; great-grandchildren: Zachery, Kaden, Rihanna, Isaac, Anna and Mackenzie; sister Betty (Max) Harnum; sisters-in-law: Pearl Brewer and Connie Brewer; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Heath, parents Gordon and Nada Brewer, brothers Arch and Raymond Brewer. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, December 25 7-9 p.m. and Friday, December 26 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Majors Raymond and Laura Janes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
