KJELSBERG: Arthur Ole, age 95 years of Kyle, SK passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 8:30 A.M. at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK. The funeral service was held at 11:00 A.M. on January 19, 2015 from the Clearwater Lutheran Church, Kyle, SK with Pastor Linda Hall officiating. The organist was Nancy Peters and the eulogist was Ione Scherger. Special music was provided by Joanne Kjelsber and Isabelle Buehler, accompanied by the Country Strings. The interment was held at the Clearwater Cemetery in the Kyle District. The pallbearers were Jason Kjelsberg, Calvin Grant, Ty Scherger, Edward Jacobson, David Lewis, and Jim Duncan. Arthur was survived by his wife of 61 years Christine (who passed just fifteen hours after Arthur); his son Ken (Joanne) and their son Jason (Crystal) and their daughter Finlee; and daughter Avis (Bruce) and their children Tamara (Kevin) and their children Shelby and Cameron, Calvin (Amanda) Alli and their daughter Kinley, Miranda (Brad) and their daughter Paisley, and Ashley; daughter Ione (Myron) and their children Ty and Kenzie; sisters Amy and Florence; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his parents Ole and Petra. Arthur was born in the Tuberose area and attended school in Tuberose. He was united in marriage to Christine Mosby on October 14, 1953 in Ryley, AB. He was a farmer all his working life and was involved in community committees such as the Wheat Pool and the Clearwater Lutheran Church boards.
