It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lena Anderson announce her passing on Monday January 26, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband Maxwell. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her five children: Maxine (Carl) Noseworthy, Corner Brook, Walter (Colleen) Anderson, Humber Village, Gregory (Elaine) Anderson, Spaniards Bay, Carolyn (Barry) Grant, Corner Brook, and Kristopher Anderson of Corner Brook; 10 precious grandchildren: Brock and Krysta Noseworthy, James, Robyn and John Anderson, Jordan and Justin Anderson, Tyler and, Matthew Grant, Sara (Colin) Barry and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday January 27th, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, at 3:30 p.m from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street, Reverend Tanya White Officiating.
