Farewell to the Captain, till the next time we all meet

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden loss of a man loved by all, Kenneth Gordon Marshall, November 25th 2014 surrounded by his loving family.

Kenny is survived by the love of his life Rosalie Moore of 29 years, his children Jim (Dana), Michelle (Thomas), Amanda (Andi), Darren and Ryan. Sisters Jean, Heather (Dave) and Glenda (Greg). Numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Too many to name but no less loved. And of course the Minotti Mulisha

Kenny was pre deceased by his mother Evelyn, father Ken, Brother Donny and mother in law Julia Moore. His fallen brothers Dwayne Zarr, Randy Randall, Rick Mclellan, Ken Beaton and Darryl Greenough.

Kenny was born and raised in Kelowna, BC on January 7th, 1952. After working all over BC for many years Ken and Rose decided to raise their children in Prince George where Prince George Steel was based. He continued to work as a Rod Buster all over BC and Alberta right up until his final days. Kenny spent many wonderful years with family and friends at Whatsan Lake, a place he loved. Ken's passions were his family, rebar and his Harley. He was a proud member of Union local 97 for 32 years. Ken loved and respected all his union Bros, especially Mel Anderson, Dan Dunlop, Pat McInerney, Kevin McLeod and Kenny Goulden, and the hundreds of men that knew him. Kenny was very proud his three sons followed in his footsteps into iron working. Since establishing Regional Reinforcing he had many dedicated men by his side. Holidays were a special time for Kenny; he always went over the top with decorations and spoiling everyone with presents. He was also known as an ultimate prankster throughout his life and you learned fast from his tricks.
Kenny never asked for much, if he had a cold beer and a bike ride he was happy and when he could make a difference in other people lives then he was real happy.
Special thanks to Dr Inban Reddy, UHNBC nurses and chaplain.

A send off for Ken's next road to ride will be held December 7th 2014 at 1:30pm at the OK Centre hall 11099 Maddock Avenue Okanagan Centre, BC, V4V 2J7.

In lieu of flowers please feed a hungry animal or someone, or in Kenny's honor donate to the Salvation Army

Kenny is off to the never ending slab.
