Dykens, Patricia Vera, age 57, of Three Mile Plains, Hants County, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, with her family by her side. Born on November 17, 1957, in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Patterson) Lorencovitch. Patsy, had worked for Gerald Mitchell Contracting, Fall River. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and especially enjoyed camping. She loved helping people, no matter what the need or occasion and had lots of family beyond family. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Dykens; sons, Ryan (Erin) Lorencovitch, Lower Sackville; Jason Flynn, Newport Station; Andrew Salter (Pam Sherman), Union Corner; step daughter, Tara Dykens, Three Mile Plains; several grandchildren; sisters, Mary Chapman, Veterans, Alta.; Grace Hatchard (Rick Redden), Martock; brothers, Jim (Pauline) Tucker, Upper Falmouth; Bill Lorencovitch, Upper Falmouth; Frank (June) Lorencovitch, Upper Falmouth; Archie Lorencovitch (Vernie Tucker), Dartmouth; Garnet Lorencovitch, Beaverbank; father-in-law, Charles Dykens, Three Mile Plains; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Betty Kelly; niece, Sharon Kelly; mother-in-law, Stephanie (Lantz) Dykens; sister-in-law, Margaret Lorencovitch. A graveside committal service was 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Sangster’s Bridge Road, Upper Falmouth. The Rev. Tom Henderson officiated, followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Building, 40 Emopire Lane, Windsor.
