It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our special angel, Starlette Thomas, 44, of New Waterford on Feb. 26, 2015, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Starlette was a skilled hairdresser and graduate of Breton Beauty College in Sydney. She had a unique creative flare that was evident in her personality and her surroundings, which she would decorate with such class and care. Starlette loved cooking and was known to fill several scribblers with various recipes all of which she would attempt to cook and succeed, much to the delight of her family and friends.
Starlette was always optimistic and outgoing and as a result, had several friends whom she adored. She truly had a soft spot for animals, especially her chihuahua, Molly. Although Starlette didn't have children, she had several nieces and nephews whom she adored as if they were her own.
