It is with great sadness that the family of the late Madonna Patey announces her passing on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Donald; son Dwane (Brittany); grandchildren Claire and Ben; mother Edna Cadet; siblings John (Sis), Norma (Edwin), Maurice (Debby), Tom (Sarah), Vange (Myles), and Murray (Laverne); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Clement Cadet. Visitation was held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Friday, Feb. 27 followed by the funeral service which took place on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix with Father Raj officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
