It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our dear father, brother, grandfather and uncle, David Reynolds, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in Halifax.
Born in Sydney Mines on Sept. 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Eldridge and Viola (Forrest) Reynolds.
David loved to camp, fish, drink and party without hurting anyone. He got along with everyone. He was a very kind, lovable person, who lived his life to the fullest.
He will be sadly missed by his four loving sons, David Jr. (Janice), Robert (Amy), John and Troy (Michelle). Also left to mourn are his three sisters, Mary (Charlie) Stewart, Cecilia (Butch) Kendall and Ann Marie Reynolds (Dave); two brothers, Jimmy (Yvonne) and Michael, Uncle Johnny Forrest (Lily); 14 loving grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his dog, Miley.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.
Visitation for David Reynolds will be held in J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines on Friday, March 5, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a prayer service to be held at 8:30 p.m., in the funeral home, with Deacon Greg Murphy officiating.
