It is with heavy hearts we have to say good- bye to our sweet sunshine, Shianne Marie Barry who lost her fight with Cockayne Syndrome on March 19, 2015 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 30 years. Shianne was predeceased by her grandfather William Barry, brother Justin Anderson and aunt Dorothy Barry. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories are her loving parents Charles and Maureen Barry, brother Kyle, paternal grandmother Wilhelmina Barry, Irishtown NL, maternal grandparents George and Marie Downey, O'Regans. Uncles and Aunts; Leo Barry, Mary Ann Barry both of Irishtown, Rita (Bernard) Gale, O'Regans, John Downey, Diane (Victor) Walmsley, Clyde (Donna) Downey all of Ontario, George (Lauri) Downey, Saskatchewan, Karen Downey (Marvin), Port aux Basques, David (Charlene) Downey, St. John's NL, Susan (Brian) Fiander, Mount Uniacke NS and a large circle of extended family and many friends. The family received friends at St. Ann`s Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday March 23, 10:30 AM at St. Ann`s Roman Catholic Church officiated by Father Lee Lainey. Interment followed at Mount St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Shianne can be made to the family.
