Mortenson, David A. – Parrsboro/Brentwood

Mortenson, David Arnold – Age 65, Parrsboro and formerly of Brentwood, passed away March 24, 2015.
Born in Truro, he was a son of the late William and Myrtle (Patterson) Mortenson.
Surviving are son, Kendall (Tammy); grandson, Zachary; step-granddaughter, Emma; common-law spouse, Laura Taggart; brothers, Austin (Elsa), Peter (Valerie); sister, Betty Cooper.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty”; daughter, Kimberley.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with Dave’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Friends and family are invited to a gathering in his honour on June 6, at 2 p.m., at Kendall’s home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
