GREENWOOD, Malcolm Mansfield, 96, Shag Harbour, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Born February 14, 1919, he was the son of the late Roy and Leah (Dickie) Greenwood. Mack was a World War II veteran and he served in Holland and Belgium. After returning from the war he was a lobster fisherman which he enjoyed very much. He and his brother, Wilbert, worked for N.S. Research Foundation for several years. He was a foreman at Scotia Marine for 30 years. Malcolm leaves to mourn his son, Carlton and special daughter-in-law, Sharon; step-son, Royden; step-daughter, Jean; grandchildren, Cindy (Dean) Quinlan, Ernie (Susan) Greenwood, Terry (Karen) Greenwood, Carl (Louise) Greenwood; great-grandchildren, Jaime (Arron) d’Eon, Devon, Travis, Tracey, Courtney, Colby, two great-great grandchildren, Cameron and Caiden d’Eon; and niece, Myrna. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Walkins; second wife, Minnie Hunt; step-son, Stanley Greenwood; brother, Wilbert, sister Madeline. There will be a visitation on Wednesday April 8, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the H. M Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A private family funeral service will take place on Thursday from the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Phil Williams officiating. Donations may be made to Clark’s Harbour Legion Branch 148 or a charity of your choice.
