Predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Mary Ellen, wife Lettie; daughter, Marie; brothers, Herbert, Stanley, Montgomery and Robert; sisters, Melvina, Edna and Ruby; niece, Beverley and mother-in-law, Edith Chaulk. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife of 37 years, Myrtle; children, Robert, Shelly (Joe) and Sherry (Terry); grandchildren, Paula (David), Chris (Nicole), Janeen (Darren), Mark (Samantha), Jessica and Terri-Lynn; great grandchildren, Alieyah, Nicholas, Savannah, Austin and Corbin; sisters, Ivy (John) and Roberta; sister-in-law, Jane; brother-in-law, Gordon; father-in-law, Rex Chaulk; 13 brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Donna Hann, took place from the United Church, Britannia, with interment following.
