MacDonald, Jacqueline Roberta, 84 formerly of Acadia Ave., Westville passed away April 15, 2015 at the Maritime Odd Fellows Home, Pictou.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late James Robert and Irene (Dunbar) Fraser.
Jacqueline was a former employee of Zellers in New Glasgow and Truro, and Henderson and Nichol Drug Store. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Blue Mountain.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her children, Marion Taylor, Truro; George Frederick(Linda)Taylor, Alberta; James Taylor, Alberta; Judith(Edwin)Robertson, Westville; Bonny(Everett)MacDonald, Alberta; Wayne(Nancy)Taylor, Alberta; Diane Munroe, Westville; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild expected soon.
She was predeceased by her first husband James Taylor, second husband Alan MacDonald, a son Murray Richard Taylor, sisters Florence Osborne, June Chennell and Audrey Anderson.
Her remains will rest at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow for visiting from 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday from where funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday with Rev. Charles MacPherson presiding. Burial will take place at a later date in the Abercrombie Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Jacqueline may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society, the Pictou County VON or to the Maritime Oddfellows Home, Pictou.
