The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital in Alberton on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 of Vernon Jarvis, formerly of Souris, age 81 years.
Father of Debbie (Tom) Rayner. Survived by brothers, Billy, Kimball, Andy and sisters, Ronelda Frank and Eva (Gordon) Bruce. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by wife, Lillian Dingwell, daughter, Shelly Brown, brother, Colin Jarvis, and parents, Lawrence and Mary.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Saturday morning at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Souris for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Columba Cemetery.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are asked to meet at the funeral home for a Legion service on Friday at 5:45 p.m.
