Edna Irene Bagnell

BAGNELL, Edna Irene, 83, of Truro, N.S., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the early morning on Thursday, April 23, 2015.
A country girl who lost her mother at the age of four, raised with one sister and five brothers, by a covered bridge on a dairy farm. She learned the very best of her strong, caring personality from her father Wilfred Budd and his sister, Millie McConnell.
A loving mother to more than her own children, she embodied the word WONDERFUL, making each individual she was with feel just as special as the next. Edna enjoyed the challenges and adventures of raising a large family on the move.

Returning to Pugwash each summer, she enjoyed her family cottage, known as the “Dew Drop Inn,” with numerous relatives and friends. She will always be remembered for sharing all that she had with many.
Receiving Salvation as a young girl, she was associated with the Gospel Hall Christians throughout her lifetime.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ansley (Bagnell) in January 2014. She is survived by five children; Dale, San Francisco, Valerie, Calgary (husband Ron Beechey), Heather, Halifax (husband Bruce Barbour), Ross, Fort McMurray, Beth, Halifax, as well as twelve grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren.
