It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roberta "Bob" Hussey announce her passing on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Laura (John) Pye, Carol (Terry) Skeard and Yolanda (Brian) Brake; grandchildren: Lorelee (Glenn), Charlene (Shawn), Darius (Ashley), Christopher (Kelly) and Jonathan; great-grandchildren: Brandon (Tara), Teagan, Hannah, Tanner, Dominic, Chanel, Grace, Kayden and Addison; brother Mundon (Lola) Porter; sisters: Margaret Hussey and Dorothy Lilly; sisters-in-law: Mabel Temple and Dorothy Mannon; brothers-in-law: James Young and Alex Noseworthy; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Edward "Ned" Hussey, sons Ariah and Maxwell Hussey, parents Blanford and Rachel Porter, sisters Mary Ellen "Nell" Noseworthy and Barbara Young and brother Gordon Porter. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Curling with Rev. Rosemarie Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
