It is with heavy hearts that the families of Rosanna Gilley announce her passing on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Health Sciences Complex, St. John's, NL, at the age of 74 years. Rosanna leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Melvin Gilley, her children: Pearl(Jeremy), Warren (Trina), Hiram, Irving (Kim), Robin(Blair) and Ronnie, her grandchildren: April (Jeremy), Angie (Robbie), Dana, Jacklyn (Gregory), Jennifer (Stephan), Melvin, Steven (Vicki), Olivia (Sheldon), Amy, Ashton, Tamara and Ian, her great-grandchildren: Paige, Dylan, Destinee', Hope, Emily, Jacob, Hailey, Ciara, Ethan and Elyssa, her siblings: Edgar (Ura), Mae (Aubrey), her brother-in-laws: Carl Payne, Maurice (Shirley), her sister-in-laws: Emma (Martin), Maxine Payne, Claudine Brown, two homecare workers: Kim Bennett and Jackie Bennett. Rosanna also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Rosanna was pre-deceased by her son Murray, grandson, parents: Archable and Martha Brown, brother Simon, sister Annie Payne, brother-in-laws: Ronald Hutching, Leslie Payne, Basil Payne, her sister-in-laws: Faith Hutchings, Julia Payne, Father-in-law William Gilley and mother-in-laws: Pearl and Elizabeth Gilley. The family will be receiving relatives and friends from the Anglican Church in St. Paul's, NL, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Wednesday, May 6, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place from the Anglican Church in Cow Head on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 2: pm, with Rev: Terry Rose officiating and the burial will follow at the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
