WAMBOLDT, Elsie M. - 84, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Born in Riverdale, Queens County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Nellie (Murphy) Croft. Elsie enjoyed hunting and fishing in her earlier years and loved to garden and tend her cattle. She is survived by her daughters Sally Martin and Susan (Christopher) Whynot, both of Milton, Beverly Roy of Liverpool, her sons Douglas (Valerie of Brooklyn, Frank (Jane) Croft of Milton, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas; son Borden; son in law Calvin Roy; sisters Maude, Thelma, Dorothy, Mabel, Helen, Olive and Eva; brothers James, Laurie, Clyde, Percy, Harry “Buster”, Roy “Jake”, and infant brothers Leaman and Vernon. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held in Milton Community Cemetery on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2:00p.m. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Spina Bifida Association of Nova Scotia or the MS Society of Nova Scotia.
