It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patricia Hynes announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Monday May 4th 2015. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Don, her three sons; Todd (Darlene) in St. John's, Harold (Marion) in Sooke BC and Fred in Kippens, her two daughters; Julia (Kevin) Power in Eastern Passage NS and Launa (Randy) Penney in Enfield NS, her seven grandchildren; Samatha (Greg) Myddleton in England, Stephen (Dawn) Power in BC, Cody Monk-Hynes in BC, Fallon Monk-Hynes in BC, Venna Penney in NS, Randi Penney in NS and Melissa Hynes in St. John's, one great grandchild Alec Zander Power in BC and one step great grandchild Daphne Bishop in BC along with a large circle of relatives and friends. She taught at St. Stephen's Elementary School for thirty years and retired in 1990. The family will be receiving friends at Russell's Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville on Thursday May 7th 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral services will take place on Friday May 8th, 2015 at 10 am from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with cremation to follow.
