It is with great sadness that the family of the late Almond Stewart Roberts of Forteau announces his passing at the Labrador-Grenfell South Centre in Forteau on April 13, 2015 in his 87th year. He leaves to mourn his wife Celesta; daughter Cindy (Andrew); granddaughter Ashley; sisters Lily and Annie and brother Ken (Phyllis), and a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by mother Gertrude Roberts, father Eli Roberts; brothers-in-law Lloyd Dumaresque and Llewelyn Hancock. Visitation took place at the Forteau United Church. The funeral service was held Thursday, April 16 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Alice Moores officiating. Interment followed at Forteau United Church Cemetery. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all who helped in any way. Thank you and God bless.
