It is with heavy hearts, the family of the late Brian Clyde Goosney, at the age of 61 years announce his passing on Thursday, May 21st, 2015, at the palliative care unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Myra nee Butt, his daughter: Cheryl (Jason) Pike, step-daughter: Geraldine (Faron) Crocker, his grandchildren: Jenna Pike, Corey Pike, Whitney Crocker, and Keisha Crocker, his mother: Mrs. Pansy Goosney, his sister: Karen Martin, and sister-in-law: Beth Goosney, Brian was predeceased by his father: Norman Goosney, brother: James Goosney, and brother-in-law: James Martin. Also leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and extended family. In keeping with Brian's wishes cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving family and friends from the United Church in Woody Pt, on Sunday, May 24th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the Memorial service will take place from on Monday, May 25th, 2015, at 2 pm with Rev: Larry Noseworthy officiating with the burial to follow at the Anglican Church cemetery in Birchy Head, NL.
