It is with great sadness that the family of the late Audrey House announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the age of 82 years. She went peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters, Beverly (Sam-deceased) Durnford of Kippens and Diane MacDonald (Rob) of Stephenville; her five grandchildren, Robin Durnford (Nathan Elliott) of St. George's, Ryan (Karen) Durnford of Port au Port, Megan Durnford of St. John's, Crystal MacDonald (Paul Bailey) of Gimli, Manitoba, and Misty MacDonald (Brian Parsons) of Thompson, Manitoba; and her four beautiful great-grandsons, Samuel Gary Durnford Elliott, Thomas Robert Parsons, Clifford MacDonald Bailey (deceased), and Grayson Dawn Henry Bailey. Also leaving to mourn is her one brother, George (Sharon) Humber, of Mississauga, Ontario, two sisters-in-law, Ula House and Mildred House, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, especially from Daniel's Harbour where she lived much of her early life. She was predeceased by her mother, Ethel (Matthews) Humber, father, Wilson Humber, one sister Cassie Feaver, mother-in-law, Martha Jane (Brophy) House, father-in-law, Samuel House, brothers-in law, Stanley, Hardy, Grant, Eddy, Edgar, Riley, Leslie, Ronald, and Harvey House, and Andrew Fortune, sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Fortune, Emily House, Mary House, Myrtle House, Daisy House, and her loving husband, Clifford House, now together again. Visitation will take place at Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville on Saturday from 11a.m. - 1 p.m. The funeral will take place on Saturday, May 23rd at 2 p.m. from Russell's Chapel with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway in Stephenville.
