GAUTHIER: Catherine Barbara (nee Reinhold) passed away peacefully on May 15, 2015 with her family by her side. Kay had just celebrated her 89th birthday. Kay was born on May 11, 1926 in Scott, SK. She is predeceased by her parents Clementine and Balzer Sander; husbands Lawrence Gauthier and Hank Reinhold; brothers Joe and John Sander; sisters Reggie Sprint, Mary Dynes, and Theresa Nevills; brothers-in-law Vernon Herrell, Norman Firth, Andy Nevills, Fred Sprint, and Jim Dynes; and sister-in-law Lucy Sander. Kay is survived by her three children Darla Gauthier of White Bear, SK, Colin (Judy) Gauthier of Kyle, SK, and Rhelda (Keith) Reed of Calgary, AB; four grandchildren Taylor, Brendan and Danielle Reed, and Liam Gauthier (Megz Reynolds); great granddaughter Thea; step daughters Carol Klawson (Reinhold) and Bonnie Reinhold; step grandsons Geoffrey and Kurt; great step grandchildren; brother Tony (Sharon) Sander; sisters Helen Herrell and Eva Firth; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Kay spent her summers at Clearwater Lake, SK for the past 60 years, and her winters in Mesa, AZ for 35 years. Kay started out as a teacher in White Bear where she met her first husband Lawrence Gauthier. They lived on the family farm and 1967 moved to Saskatoon, SK until Lawrence's passing in 1977. Kay was a realtor with Century 21 and a life long member of the Royal Purple. Kay continued to go to Arizona where she met Hank Reinhold until his passing in 1997. Kay loved to sing, dance, play bingo, go to the casino, play cards, crafts, read, and more recently make her special cards. Kay love to visit with her family and friends where ever she was. She will be greatly missed. A private family serve was held from Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kyle Intergraded Facility, 208 3rd Ave E, Kyle, SK S0L 1T0 would be appreciated by the family. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
