LeBLANC, Thérèse Marguerite – age 90, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, formerly of Abram’s River, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 10, 1924 in Richmond, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Beatrice (Richard) Arsenault. Thérèse worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills/Dominion Textiles in Yarmouth for many years. She is survived by a brother, Pierre, PEI, as well as by many nieces and nephews and her loving caregiver, Myrtle LeBlanc. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Emile J. LeBlanc, as well as by a sister, Anna and brothers, François, André, Louis and Joseph. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. Sunday with prayers at 8:00, both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 4 p.m. Monday, May 25 at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church, Ste-Anne-du-Ruisseau, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
