Gary Curtis Hingley
Hingley, Gary Curtis – Born on September 18, 1944
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Curtis Hingley of Bible Hill, formerly of Kemptown. He left us in the early hours of the morning surrounded by family and the compassionate staff of the palliative care unit at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on May 26, 2015. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Beatrice (Weatherbee); sons, Stephen (Tammi), Kevin (Sharlene); daughters, Karen (Roger), Rhonda (Rick) and countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Ross (Brenda); sister, Diane (Eddy). Gary is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Rita; brother, Hennie (Gert); grandson, Trent Curtis Bakker. When not on the road trucking, Gary could be found listening to his ole time country music in his shed or garage. He enjoyed going out for breakfast with his loving wife and friends. He enjoyed hunting at the Bakker deer stands, fishing with his grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed heading back to Andrew’s camp to hunt and check out the building progress. A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 1-3 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Family flowers only.
