RIVERTON/NEW GLASGOW – Priscilla Angeline Baudoux, age 90 of the Valley View Villa and formerly of New Glasgow, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Strickland) Jeans.
Priscilla grew up in Trenton. During war times she worked at the nut and bolt dept. of the steel plant. She also worked at Rogers Bakery in New Glasgow. Priscilla was a homemaker and lived all of her married life in New Glasgow.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are a daughter Linda (Roddie) Watters, Riverton; a son Darrell, Ontario; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a step-son Wayne (Charlene) MacLellan, New Glasgow.
She was predeceased by her husband Fraser; a daughter Brenda, a son George and daughter-in-law Dale; a great-grandchild Roddie Watters; sisters: Rose, Vera and Myrtle; brothers: Claude, Basil and George
Her remains will rest in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, 256 King St., New Glasgow for visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Lighthouse Family Worship Center with Rev. Gordon Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Priscilla may be made to the Valley View Villa or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank Dr. Barclay and the staff of the 4th floor of the Aberdeen Hospital. Special thanks to the staff of the Valley View Villa for the love and care that was given to their mother. Also the family would like to thank Claudia Clark, Anderine Megeney and Diane White for the support given to the family over the years.
A reception will follow the service in the church hall.
