CHRISTENSON
Doris Margaret Christenson, aged 93 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26th, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Helmer and Lena Haug; husbands, Gordon Bishop in 1953 and Ralph Christenson in 2008; and brothers, Hilman Haug and Lorry Haug. Doris is survived by her children: Penny Richey (Doug), Heather Wallace (Bob) and Barry Bishop (Joan); sister, Joan (Del) Hunter; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as many devoted nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Cantelon will officiate and interment will proceed the service in Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, SK at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ name may be made to Moose Jaw’s New Regional Hospital c/o Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 455 Fairford St E, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1H3.
