It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Irene Sandra Bailey at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook. She passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle. Predeceased by her father Walter Power, Mother Mercedes Power, Father in-law Wilfred Bailey, Sister Joan Young, Brother in-law Felix Young, Sister Marjorie Power, Brothers Max Power, Don Power, Sister in-law Judy Power, Nephews Michael Rankin, Adam Piercey, and Felix Young Jr. and Niece Linda Smith. Leaving with fond and loving memories her Husband Gary, Children Kayla and Thomas, Mother in-law Myrtle Bailey, Sisters Doreen (Ray), Brenda (Frank), Jean (Dave), Phyllis (Jerry), Debbie (Blaine), Sister in-law Rose, Brothers Glen (Jill), Wally (Jackie), Tom (Phyllis), Tony (Susan), Colin, Darryl (Lori), Brothers in-law Paul (Shelia), Glenn (Julie), Shawn (Judy), Scott (Sherry), Dean (Paulette), Sisters in-law Gail (Eddy) and Carolynn, also leaving to mourn a large circle of Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Russell's Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Saturday May 30th, 2015 at 2 PM from Zion Pentecostal Church on Carolina Avenue in Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
