Passed peacefully away at the St. John’s Long Term Care Facility on May 29, 2015, Shirley Snook aged 82 years. Predeceased by great grandson William Varga. Leaving to mourn her husband Charlie; daughter Linda (Tim) Cohen; son David (Darlene) Parsons; granddaughters Alyssa Parsons (Mike Varga), Darcie and Audrey Cohen; great grandchildren Oliver and Lily Varga; stepson Glen (Blossom); stepdaughter Marcia Barrett; step grandchildren Mitchell, Colin, Ryan and Sarah; great grandchildren Colton, Ava, Owen, Alana and Emily; siblings Jean (Martin) Pretorius and Bram (Jessie) England; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday June 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 2 from the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s name may be made to Foster Parents Plan of Canada.
