Trevor Victor Whitten, 78, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away June 12 th, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Ann LeBlanc, his son, Trevor Scott and daughter-in-law (Sarah Dooley Whitten), daughter, Sayler Michelle, and four grandsons: Josh, Ben, Zach, and Sam. Trevor was born in Northern Ireland on September 21st, 1936. His adventurous spirit led him to Canada where he met his wife of 49 years, Phyllis (Port Elgin, New Brunswick). He then left for Houma, Louisiana with his family where he spent 37 years working in the Gulf of Mexico and around the world. Although he spent many years away, like any true Irishman, Ireland was always in his heart. He loved his family as well as sharing music, blarney, and beer. He will be missed. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Heartland of Bellefontaine for the kindness and compassion shown to Trevor and his family.
