The death occurred at his home in Oyster Bed Bridge on Saturday, June 27, 2015, of Barry Maye, aged 54.
Barry was the father of Scott Laybolt (Erin McNally), Katelynn Maye (James Riley) and Chelsey Maye (Shawn Legere); stepfather of Darcy Buell and Chris Buell (Samantha); grandfather of Lexie, Serenity, Jaxon, Kayden, Kayleigh, Keisha and Carson; and stepgrandfather of Destiny, Courtney and Mya. He is also survived by Lori McLean, the stepmother of Scott, and the mother of Katelynn and Chelsey; his brothers, David and Cecil, and his twin brother, Gary (Carol); his sisters, Brenda Jordan (Wayne) and Debbie Evans (Byron); and special friends, Becky MacLean and Ricky Tibeau. Barry was predeceased by his parents, Austin and Joyce (Wakelin) Maye; his brother, John; sister, Peggy; and grandson, Jason.
A public visitation and funeral will not be held. A private service will be held for family and friends. If so desired, memorial donations to a fund for his grandchildren would be appreciated.
