It is with deep sadness that we, the family of May Hart, announce the passing of our dearly loved mother, at the Harbour Lodge in Carbonear, on June 27, 2015. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph in 1989, her sister Alison Harris, brother Clarence Hillier, dear friend Steve Emberley, and many good friends. Mom will be deeply missed by her devoted daughters Carol (Mike), Maxine (Jeff), Donna (Kevin), and her beloved son Andy (Judy), as well as six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who gave special meaning to her life. She will also be dearly missed by good friends and relatives across the country. We would like to thank the dedicated group of women at Winter Holme Manor who provided a safe and happy haven for Mom for over ten years, as well as the staff at the Harbour Lodge who provided excellent care during the final months of her earthly journey. Visitation will be held at Green's Funeral Home in Winterton on Wednesday, July 1, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Augustine's Church in New Perlican, on Thursday, July 2, at 10:00 a.m. Mom had requested no flowers, but for anyone wishing, a donation may be made to St. Augustine's Church or to your charity of choice.
