It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Stephen Deveau, in the Everette Chalmers Hospital on June 24, 2015 at 4:30 am. Born in Kingston, Ont on March 20, 1948. Brian was the son of Bertha Deveau (Lambert) of Arcadia and the late Fredrick Deveau of Yarmouth. Brother of Alfred, Steven, and Linda Vickery (Bob Davies), Wendy Deveau, uncle to Sherri and Lee Vickery, Gerald Deveau. Great uncle to 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Husband of Rhona (Burgoyne), step-father to Christina Appleby, Yvonne (Darin) Evans, Gina (Kevin) Papineau-Colture. Step-grandfather to 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his aunt Ruth Pinner and many cousins. Brian was a member of the Chebogue Sea Cadets, 84th Independent Field Battery, 20 year member of the Royal Canadian Artillery, 25 year member of the Canadian Corp of Commissionaires. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branches #93 Oromocto, #44 Chester, #4 Fredericton. Donations to Heart and Stroke, Diabetes Association or Charity of your choice. Funeral was held June 30, 2015, at Bishop’s Funeral Home, Fredricton, N.B.
