TRITES, Ruby Mae – age 89, of Millville, Kings Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2015. Born on April 20, 1926, in Aylesford, she was a daughter of the late Murray and Lillian (Wagner) Creemer. Ruby was raised from infancy by the late Rupert and Maude Veinott. She was a member of the Kingston United Baptist Church. Ruby was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Although she is now present with the Lord, Ruby will be sadly missed by her daughter, Janet (Roy) Nichols, Aylesford; sons, Russell (Joy Hoag), Millville; Donald (Cathy), Tillsonburg, Ont.; James (Judy Grant), Aylesford; and Cecil (Darlene), Truro. She will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; half brother, George Creemer; and half sisters, Jean Fredericks and Helen Oickle. Besides her parents, Ruby was predeceased by Glendon, her beloved husband of 64 years. She was also predeceased by her sister, Myrtle Corbin; foster brothers, Hansen, George and Clifford Veinott; and foster sisters, Jessie Nichols and Gladys Yorke. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., Middleton, toll free 1 (855) 825-3448. The funeral service service was held in the Kingston United Baptist Church, 695 Hwy No. 1, Kingston, on Wednesday, July 22, at 2:00 p.m., and a reception followed. Rev. Douglas Porter officiated with Interment in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
