Ken Striha
October 2, 1947-July 29 2015
We are saddened to announce the passing of Ken – our husband, dad, grandpa, big papa, uncle, and incredible friend, and he will be sorely missed. He passed with his loving family by his side. He was the most giving man who was willing to go to the ends of the earth for his family and friends. He loved the outdoors, and shared that love with his children, grandchildren and friends. He was everyone’s dad and everyone’s friend. He joins in Heaven his son Scott, parents Nick and Yvonne, and parents-in-law Phil and Marie Wagner. He is survived by the love of his life, Karen, children Richard (Lynn), Kimberley (Jeramey), and Andrew (Tanya), the grandchildren who lit up his world, Brandon, Brooke, Nicholas and Kaitlyn, and brother, Phil (Debbie), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many, will be missed by many, and is taking a piece of our hearts with him. It was Ken’s wish not to have a funeral. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital whose tireless efforts helped to make Ken as comfortable as possible at the end. And finally, we thank our family and friends who reached out, and came from near and far to visit Ken – every visit brightened his day and meant the world. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, Box 334, Moose Jaw, Station Main, S6H 4N9. In living memory of Ken, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
